Comparing The Star of Kazan to the Tale of Despereaux:
The book group thought the two books were very different. Despereaux was funnier and The Star of Kazan had lots more characters and descriptions. Olivia preferred Desperaux, Phoebe preferred The Star of Kazan and everyone else liked them both the same.Ana and Bobbie didn't think the book should have been called The Star of Kazan.
